How to Find Planning Applications
- Open the map on Maplify.
- Navigate to the site or area you want to check.
- Select the Planning Applications tool from the toolbar.
- Adjust the date range slider if you need to look further back.
- Click any coloured dot to open its full application details.
Worked Example
A homeowner is checking precedent before submitting a similar extension application:
- Searching the surrounding streets reveals three past applications for rear extensions, two Granted and one Refused.
- Opening the Refused application shows it was rejected for overshadowing a neighbouring garden.
- This informs a revised design that avoids the same issue before the new application is submitted.
