Tailored maps styled with your logo, colours and data — for your customers on your website, or for your team internally.
A bespoke map is a custom-designed map built around your organisation: your locations, your data layers, your brand colours, your logo. We combine Maplify's national planning and environmental data — Green Belt boundaries, flood risk, conservation areas, Article 4 Directions, planning applications, infrastructure and more — with data you supply, and produce a single styled map for online, PDF or print use.
Unlike a generic embed, a bespoke map carries your visual identity throughout. Markers, polygons, legends and titles all use your colours and fonts, so the map looks like part of your product — not a third-party widget carrying someone else's branding.
Bespoke maps are built for two broad audiences: customer-facing maps that surface on your website or in your sales material, and internal maps that help your team plan, monitor and report on territory, assets, sites and constraints.
Off-the-shelf embeds are functional but generic — they look like everyone else's and carry no connection to your brand. A bespoke map becomes part of your product or your report, reinforcing identity and trust, and carrying exactly the layers your audience needs and nothing they don't.
For customer-facing uses, a branded locator or coverage map converts better than a plain embed: visitors immediately recognise your territory, your nearest branch, or your service area in your colours. For internal use, a single source of truth on a styled map saves colleagues from juggling spreadsheets, PDFs and unfocused online viewers.
Because bespoke maps combine your data with Maplify's national planning and environmental layers, you can show your sites against Green Belt, flood risk, conservation areas and the rest of the constraints picture in one place — without assembling each layer yourself.
Branch / store locator
Branded pins for each location, with your logo, opening hours and a "find your nearest" experience embedded on your site.
Service-area & delivery zones
Isochrone or polygon-based areas showing where you deliver, install or service — branded and embeddable on a contact page.
Coverage / franchise territory
Clean polygon map of your franchise or sales territories, shaded by region, performance or coverage type.
Property & portfolio listings
For estate agents, developers and funds — every listing or asset pinned and styled, with site boundaries and linked detail pages.
Asset & infrastructure register
Internal operations map of depots, vessels, pipelines, lines, cabinets or stock, layered over Maplify base maps.
Site constraints & feasibility
A single map showing Green Belt, flood risk, conservation areas, SSSIs and Article 4 Directions against your site or option land.
Pipeline & project plan
Sites or projects layered by stage — sourced, under offer, completed — with timelines and ownership context.
Environmental & ESG
Biodiversity, water quality, AQMAs, flood risk and habitat layers combined for a regulator-grade environmental report map.
Catchment & demographic
Drive-time catchments with population, deprivation and spend overlay — branded for board packs or planning submissions.
Community / public consultation
Neighbourhood map for residents showing a proposed project, its footprint and related constraints in plain English.
Every bespoke map can be delivered in two editions: a polished public view for your customers, and a richer internal view for your team.
Every bespoke map is styled to match your organisation's identity. The six elements below come as standard with each project — additional bespoke styling or deeper data integration is quoted on top.
You can supply a brand guide, or we will derive the palette and typography from your website — whichever is simplest for your team.
Tell us the use case — customer-facing or internal — and what the map needs to show.
Send any data you have (spreadsheets, KML, GeoJSON, shapefiles) and a brand guide if you have one.
We design a first draft in your colours, with your logo and markers, combined with the Maplify layers you need.
You review and request one round of revisions; further rounds are quoted separately.
We deliver an embed code for your site plus PDF and print-ready exports.

What is a bespoke map from Maplify?
A custom map designed around your business, brand and use case. We take Maplify's planning, environmental and infrastructure data layers, combine them with any data you supply, and produce an interactive or print map styled with your colours, logo, typography and marker set.
Can you make the map customer-facing on our website?
Yes. Bespoke maps can be embedded on your own website or hosted on a subdomain you control. We supply an interactive web embed plus PDF and print-ready exports where you need them.
Can our own data be combined with Maplify layers?
Yes. Send us your spreadsheet, GeoJSON, KML or shapefile and we'll merge it with Maplify's planning, environmental and infrastructure layers. Common examples include delivery zones, branch locations, asset registers and customer catchments.
How long does a bespoke map take?
A first draft is normally ready within 5–10 business days. Larger or data-rich projects take longer — we agree a timeline before starting.
Are ongoing updates included?
Updates can be added on demand or scheduled daily, weekly or monthly. The initial design fee covers delivery and one round of revision; ongoing refreshes are quoted separately.
What does a bespoke map cost?
Pricing depends on scope, the number of data layers included, the amount of custom styling and whether you need ongoing refresh. Tell us about your use case and we will provide a fixed quote.
Tell us what you need to show, who it's for, and we'll come back with a fixed quote and timeline.
