Maplify is used every day by property developers, planning consultants and solicitors to screen sites in seconds instead of hours. We believe public-interest organisations — councils, charities, schools and colleges among them — should have the same access, free of charge.
Who's Eligible
We offer free Gratis accounts to organisations serving a public or community interest, including:
- Councils and local authorities
- Registered charities
- Schools, colleges and universities
- Housing associations
- NHS and other health services
- Emergency services
- Community groups
- Other government departments and public bodies

What's Included
A Gratis account removes the usual limits on the parts of Maplify most organisations rely on day to day:
- Unlimited search credits — no weekly or monthly cap on searching sites, viewing the Land Insights pane, or using the AI Planning Co-Pilot.
- Free Flood Risk Reports — normally £24.99 per site, free for Gratis accounts.
- Free Planning Constraints Reports — normally £24.99 per site, free for Gratis accounts.
- Free Planning Applications Reports — normally £9.99 per area, free for Gratis accounts.
Two categories remain chargeable even on a Gratis account, since they carry real third-party costs we pass straight through: priced items in the Intelligence Pane's ownership and document tab, and official HM Land Registry title plans and title registers.
How to Get Your Access Code
Access codes are issued directly by us and aren't published anywhere on the site. If your organisation fits one of the categories above, contact us with a short note about who you are and how you'd use Maplify, and we'll send your private 16-digit code.
How to Redeem Your Code
Once you have your code, redeeming it takes a couple of minutes:
- Go to our Gratis Account Access page.
- Create a free Maplify account (or log in if you already have one).
- Enter the responsible person's name and phone number, your organisation's name and type, and your 16-digit code.
- Submit the form — your account is upgraded to Gratis immediately, with unlimited credits and free reports from that moment on.
